Warriors square off against T9P in the first match of their Comeback Tour 

Winged Warriors battle The 9th Player.

    Weeks before the match the Winged Warriors were recovering from the shutout handed to them by H2O.  However, on this night, spirits were high and the Warriors were looking to once again reign victorious.  

Game One - Low Ball on Lockout

 The game began and each team made an all out rush for the ball.  The Winged Warriors were successful and brought the ball to the sniper tower.  As a result they quickly pulled out to a one minute lead before The 9th Player rushed in and broke up their control.  However, with a successful counter attack the Warriors regained control for the remainder of the game.  In the end the Winged Warriors won the game 3:06 to 1:40.

Game Two - MLG Assault 07 on Midship

   From the start the Winged Warriors were completely in control of both the map and the bomb.  With their rock solid control the Warriors rushed The 9th Player base repeatedly, and four minutes and thirty four seconds later the game was over.

Game Three - Team Slayer on Lockout

 This game was The 9th Player’s second choice and they decided to change it up a bit by putting “no weapons” on the map.  In essence, the game was a continuous Battle Rifle battle that raged on all across the map.  After countless bullets and kills were traded, the Winged Warriors won the game by a margin of twenty nine kills.

Game Four - MLG CTF 07 on Warlock

 The game began and the Winged Warriors easily took control of the map and overpowered The 9th Player defense.  A barrage of attacks was unleashed by the Warriors resulting in four quick captures.  Unfortunately for the Warriors an ineffective attack gave 9th Player control and a well executed flag run gave them their first score.  However, the Warriors regrouped and quickly swarmed The 9th Player base and with a well executed attack the Winged Warriors were victorious.

Game Five - WW Team Slayer 100 on Lockout

 For the entire game the Winged Warriors controlled the sniper tower and The 9th Player controlled the battle rifle tower.  After one hundred and sixty kills were tallied the game was over, and the Winged Warriors won the game by a margin of forty kills.

Summary

 This match was a morale booster for the Winged Warriors after their disheartening loss in Clanmatch 21.  Also this match was the Warriors second shutout; their first was Clanmatch 10 against Truth Regret.  The 9th Player are looking for a rematch in the future so stay tuned for those results.
