Another Notch in the Warriors’ Victory Belt 

Winged Warriors battle We’re Not Godz.

      That’s right its clan match time baby...Oh yeah, rip roaring, pants dropping fun for the whole family. This time it’s eight on eight action. The mighty Winged Warriors clash with We’re Not Godz in a brutal fight for clan supremacy.

Game One - Assault on Terminal

  The first game was decided by We’re Not Godz, Assault on Terminal. The Winged Warriors felt confident about this and were ready to get it started. Clan WW started with a methodical assault on the base. The bomb carrier got stuck in the back of the map unable to safely move the bomb through the courtyard. Deciding to take it safe they tried to clear the base first, but the bomb did not make it into the base with enough time to arm it and the WW were shut out in round 1. Time for clan We’re Not Godz to make an attempt. The offensive team quickly delivered the bomb into the base, but the defense of the Winged Warriors ruined their hopes of a quick easy bomb plant. Guns blazed by both teams and the round ended with the score still 0 to 0. With the Winged Warriors back on offensive they decided to change things up and rush straight for the base with the bomb. With many great grabs they were able to slowly body by body move the bomb timer forward and with one final grab by WW Horizon arm and plant for the lead. The final round was decided by the great communication and teamwork of the Winged Warriors and put a check into the Warriors win column.

Game Two - Multi Flag on Coagulation

   The second game was chosen by the Winged Warriors. It is becoming a staple in the Winged Warriors game set. The vehicles were quickly loaded and each team was off for the race to hold the coveted rockets. After battling back and forth the Winged Warriors set their game plan in motion. One word BANSHEE. With the theft of the We’re Not Godz banshee the WW pushed them back into a crazed defense. With sniper support the flag was tossed out of their base and ran through the portal. With a team effort Simmons2ptO finished the run off with a score. The match went back and forth the rest of the time and the final score was WW 1 and We’re Not Godz 0.

Game Three - Team Slayer on Burial Mounds

   Game three put the power back into clan We’re Not Godz hands. Choosing to not play an objective game they went with straight Battle Rifle slayer on Burial Mounds. With the sweet song of Let the Bodies Hit the Floor on the lips of the Winged Warriors they quickly decimated the opposing team. With XXmrbenXX leading the way with 20 kills and 4 deaths clan Winged Warriors put that fantastic v for victory on the board.

Game Four - Assault on Coagulation

   With the clan match secured by the Winged Warriors both teams decided to continue to have fun and play the rest of the matches. Their earlier victory on Coagulation spurred the WW to play a second game on that map, but this time with a little bomb action. The game was very evenly matched and neither team could get that necessary arm, plant combo. When the time ran out the game ended in a tie.

Game Five - Multi Flag on Waterworks

 With the Stalactites eerily over head and the spelunking gear set. Both teams were set to steal the others flag and take home the final game. Neither team was able to get the flag moving and although the Winged Warriors far out slayed We’re Not Godz the game ended yet again in a tie.

Summary

 Clan We’re Not Godz put up a great fight against us. The night was a lot of fun and a rematch is definitely in the works for Halo 3. We thank them for being the great sports and the competitive team that they are.
