Warriors end their season battling Spartans Fo Life

Winged Warriors vs. Spartans Fo Life.

    Last match of the Winged Warriors Halo 2 Season. Will they go out with a bang or enter Halo 3 on a losing note? Read below for the scoop.

Game One - CTF Classic 5 on Midship

 Game on. Both teams rush for map control. The Warriors push harder and suppress the Spartans back into their base. From here on it's easy pickings as the Winged Warriors fly in and fly out, flag capture after flag capture. Resulting in one of the quickest round in Winged Warriors history. The game ends with the score 5 - 0 in the Warriors favor. Game Over after 3 minuets and 14 seconds.

Game Two - 1 Flag CTF on Burial Mounds

    The game started off fierce with Spartans Fo Life rushing with the hog, but the WW had a strong defense. After stopping the rush, we came out with both snipers because of a ghost rush by one of our members. We held them off for the rest of the round with both snipers. The second round started off much the same for both teams as we rushed them with a warthog that was abruptly destroyed, but we retained our sniper and rockets. After chipping away at their defense we managed to get the flag out and with sniper cover, captured the flag. The next rounds were much the same as the Winged Warriors accumulated 3 flag captures to the Spartans 0.

Game Three - Team Slayer on Zanzibar

   The game can be summed up in two words, HOST GAUSS. With WW Horizon in the driver’s seat and Pastemaster in the turret the duo decimated Spartans Fo Life all across the map. When the score reached 30-2 the Warriors decided to park the hog and face Spartans Fo Life on foot. The Warriors’ teamwork ended the match quickly. In the end the Warriors routed Spartans Fo Life 50-11.
